A model somebody designed themselves and did not build from an official set's instructions. Short for “My Own Creation”.
MOC stands for “My Own Creation”: a model of a builder's own design, as opposed to an official set. A MOC can be anything from a small vignette to a layout that fills a hall. A model that starts from an official set and changes it is usually called a MOD.
